Thanks for your comments on the previous songs. This week I’ve done a video again for you from my ’secret lab’ and I’ll apologise in advance for the groggy ‘Saturday morning voice’ quality of the vocals!
Anyway, it’s inspired by some of the words from Romans 8 – let me know if you think it needs a second verse, is it reasonably singable? does the theme make sense? or any other constructive observations that might improve it when it comes to the re-writing stage.
It looks like I’m going to be in the USA late July into August. I’d love to add some worship ministry opportunities while there.

Ideal gigs would be worship leading at churches, conferences or other settings that would suit our ‘Ethno-Celt flavoured’ music style.
My dates are flexible at this stage with existing possibilities already in Nashville and California.
This week I’ve been ruminating on both Psalm 40:1-2 and Isaiah 40:27-31. They both talk about waiting on God and His faithfulness to repsond to us – so this week’s song is a by-product of these two passages.
However, I’m a bit concerned about the melody of the chorus, it sounds very familar to me. This could just mean that I have been hearing it in my head for a while or it could be that I have inadvertantly copied the tune off someone else!

As a reward for your patience I am giving you 2 slightly different versions of today’s song. The tempo is the same but the chords and melody differ slightly in each one. I’d love to hear what you think works and what doesn’t.
